Back in August, 20th Century Fox released the very first trailer for Deadpool. It was a big moment for fans of the character: following the complete misuse of the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, there was no telling whether or not the standalone movie would do the Merc with a Mouth justice. Thankfully, the Deadpool debut trailer was a huge hit, and the movie definitely looks like it's on the right track.
That was four months ago, and fans haven't seen anything from the movie since. Sure, there have been plenty of teasers, but it's about time for another trailer to make its way online. Apparently, Fox had the same idea: the second full trailer for Deadpool is scheduled to debut on Christmas Day. Not only that, but Ryan Reynolds himself will be teasing fans for the 12 days leading up to the second Deadpool trailer.
Of course, with Christmas right around the corner, it only makes sense that Deadpool would be getting into the holiday spirit — that being said, few would ever expect to see one of the Marvel Universe's deadliest killers in an ugly Christmas sweater ...
This sweater is like wearing a coffin made entirely out of adorable. #12DaysOfDeadpool pic.twitter.com/Wa5ZU7LWIg

You know, in retrospect, Deadpool looks good in a sweater — maybe it's time for a new uniform?
If there's one thing that's strange about the sweater, it's that there's no swearing, explosions or gore involved whatsoever. Come on, this is Deadpool we're talking about: having a picture of him in a sweater with his name on it is cool, but is that as far as anyone was willing to go? Fans have already seen the first trailer, but it's not as if anyone is under the assumption that this will be a family-friendly film:
Either way, Deadpool already has the character's sense of humor locked down — no one else could come up with a line like "a coffin made entirely out of adorable."
Let's just hope the full movie is as good as the promos. Deadpool is set to debut on Feb. 12, 2016.
