Brand New ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Trailer Airing In Some Theaters Before ‘The Force Awakens’

The new Uncharted 4: A Thief's End trailer is going to show up on the silver screen right before "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in select theaters in the United States.

Fans of the blockbuster sci-fi and the action-adventure game will be able to hit two birds with one stone this weekend all thanks to Sony.

The company announced the news via the social media platform, where it included an extra treat that shows Nathan Drake, the protagonist of the series, with a pistol in hand, reaching for what looks like an ancient coin. Also, the image could possibly be a part of the trailer.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is going to be the last installment of the franchise because it's "hard to make," according to Robert Cogburn, the game's lead designer.

Perhaps Naughty Dog and Sony are looking to send out the popular game with a bang by letting it screen ahead of one of the biggest movies to come to light this year.

Earlier this month, Sony also revealed a trailer that shows Nathan Drake with a "decidedly less than friendly character."

"Were you watching The Game Awards 2015 tonight? If you weren't, you missed some great exclusive reveals and a wonderful music act – certainly one of my favorite bands in the last few years. But what I'm referring to is the reveal of a brand new cinematic clip from Uncharted 4: A Thief's End!" said Arne Meyer, director of communications at Naughty Dog.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is up for preorder with a release date set to March 18, 2016.

Check out the footage featured at The Game Awards 2015 below, and don't forget to go inside the movie theater early this weekend to see the latest trailer of the game.
