While the real-life notorious serial killer Jack the Ripper was never caught, you can have the chance to finally bring him to justice — or at least get his comeuppance — with the new DLC release for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate.
Available as part of the Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Season Pass, the downloadable pack lets users track down Jack with Evie Frye, one of the two main playable characters in Victorian-era Syndicate. Set in 1888, 20 years after the events of the game, the Ripper-based campaign brings Evie back to London to hunt the murderer down.
Here is Ubisoft's official synopsis for the DLC:
"The streets of London are filled with fear and Evie Frye is on the trail of one of history's most mysterious killers. The new Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Jack the Ripper campaign puts you in the shoes of Evie once more as she returns to London after being absent for 20 years. Armed with some new skills, she must investigate a series of crimes that draw her deep into the dark underworld of Victorian London's Whitechapel district."
The pack will be available for download on Dec. 15 for PS4 and Xbox One, with a version for PC available on Dec. 22. Gamers who don't have a season pass can also purchase the DLC individually for $14.99. According to Ubisoft, those who do have the season pass, priced at $29.99, can download the following:
