It looks like this month superhero and sci-fi fans can get two doses of Mark Hamill. The first you'll be able to catch in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which will be released for the silver screen on Dec. 18, and one on a slightly smaller scale, on Tthe CW's The Flash, where Hamill will return as Barry Allen's slippery, maniacal antagonist the Trickster.
Here is an official synopsis of the 9th episode of The Flash's sophomore season, which will be the series' midseason finale, titled "Running to Stand Still":
"The Weather Wizard returns to break Captain Cold and the Trickster out of Iron Heights, but Barry tries to stop him and prevent these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe and Iris meet Wally West."
The CW's The Flash airs at 8 p.m. EST Tuesdays.
