The only problem with Adobe releasing its Premiere Clip video editor on iOS last year was that it left all Android users high and dry ... until now, that is.
On Monday, the company launched the same app, but for Android users.
"Premiere Clip is a free video editor that makes it fast and fun to create quality videos that can be easily shared — or easily opened in Adobe Premiere Pro CC for extra polish," Adobe writes on its Google Play app page, where it has already received hundreds of downloads.
Like the iOS version before it, Premiere Clip for Android allows users to easily edit videos, changing their looks and even scoring them with music.
For inexperienced editors, the app also boasts automatic video editing.
"Automatically create a video from your photos and videos — edited to the beats of your soundtracks," Adobe explains in the description accompanying the download.
However, although Clip is free of charge, Android users will still need a subscription to use Premiere on their desktops.
Any projects created in Clip can easily be synced with your desktop version of the program.
Similar to its iOS version, Clip will allow users to integrate the app easily with others from the company, including Adobe Capture, enabling them to add custom color to videos.
Although there isn't anything that sets itself apart from its iOS counterpart, just to have Clip available for Android is significant for Adobe's brand for presence and user functionality, giving users the power of a desktop video editor at their fingertips via a mobile device.
