The Oppo R7s smartphone is the latest addition to the company's R7 series which it first announced back in October.
The new smartphone from Oppo is slated to be available for purchase at Oppo's official site. It is also available at Amazon U.K., Germany and France beginning on Dec. 1.
"The Oppo R7s boasts flash-speed performance with 4 GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor," said Oppo in a press release back in October, upon announcing the smartphone.
The company added that the handset offers lightning-fast downloads of programs and games with its ability to run smooth multitasking performance. The dual SIM card slot can also support an expanded memory of up to 128 GB. This means that users can take their favorite media content with them anywhere they want to.
The Oppo R7s boasts a 5.5-inch display that has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and comes equipped with other high-end features. These include 4 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera, 4G LTE, Android 5.1.1 and Color OS 2.1.
"Oppo's in-house Color OS 2.1, which is based on Android 5.1, has been thoroughly upgraded," said Oppo.
Some of these upgrades include faster boot-up and power-saving. Other things to look forward to include a more sophisticated and intuitive interface, enhanced image experience, flawless operation and richer mobile Internet services.
Built with a super narrow 0.09 inch screen bezel, the latest R7s model features a sleek outer body made from a premium metal alloy that is treated with state-of-the-art surface coating technology. With these design features, the Oppo R7s will absolutely win great admiration from fashion-conscious consumers.
As for the battery, the R7s comes packed with an extra-large 3,070 mAh battery paired with VOOC Flash Charge technology. The latter makes the smartphone capable of charging up to 90 percent within a brief period of 50 minutes. The battery also allows talk time of up to two hours even after only two minutes of charging.
The R7s is also another selfie phone with its Screen Flash and Beautify 3.0 plug-in features. It is even good for capturing images in low light condition and promises to always deliver stunning selfies.
The new Oppo R7s smartphone retails at $399 and will soon hit the U.S. For now, it is already available for preorder at Amazon in Germany, with more markets to follow soon. Customers in Europe can purchase the handset at €349 starting in December as mentioned earlier.
