We've seen several leaked information about the Huawei Mate 8, but things seem to be more official now with leaked images showing exactly what the handset might look like.
Bear in mind that until the Chinese company releases official renders, these leaked images will be considered as rumors for now. However, we see no reason why they are not real based on the images themselves.
Not too long ago, Huawei showcased a new Mate S device. While it is a solid handset, it is not the flagship handset many have been waiting for. That crown could fall to the Mate 8 as it is expected to be officially revealed on November 26. With this in mind, a full set of renders have showed up in China a few days ago, and they look wonderful.
Given the fact that Huawei loves embodying its mobile phones in metal, it should come as no surprise to find out the body of the Mate 8 is all metal. Furthermore, from the leaked images, it would seem the handset will come in three colors.
The leaked images show Mate 8 renders in Gold, Gray and Copper.
Interestingly enough, the renders also show what appears to be a fingerprint sensor that is situated underneath the camera. It's an odd spot, but it may just work out fine, especially for one-handed use.
When it comes down to the processor, the device is rumored to have a Kirin 950 CPU. When it comes down to the screen, the Mate 8 could very well come with a solid 6-inch 1080p touchscreen. Furthermore, there might even be a 16 or 20-megapixel camera on the back with dual-LED flash.
On the front for selfies and video calls, there's an 8-megapixel camera. The device could also be one of the few smartphones to come with 4 GB of RAM. In terms of the operating system, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is installed with Huawei's Emotion UI.
We should also point out that a recent advertisement for the Mate 8 has been leaked, which ultimately confirms the design is real along with some of the specifications.
