From J-Lo's Hot Opening Number To Meghan Trainor Making Out - Here Are All The Best Moments From The 2015 American Music Awards

The American Music Awards (AMAs) has always had the knack of cooking up astounding musical productions aside from awarding the musicians and singers who have made an effort to put together the best hits of the year. For the 2015 AMAs held on Nov. 22, it seemed as if the entire event was a highlight.

Things started off on a high note with Jennifer Lopez, this year's host, when she performed a slow version of her own hit song "Waiting for Tonight" immediately followed by a medley of songs across genres, including hits from Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. If her dancing wasn't enough to make everyone's jaw drop, her outfit - a studded tribal body suit - surely was.

Selena Gomez also gave a brilliant performance of her song "Same Old Love" while her pal Demi Lovato killed it onstage as well and wowed the crowd. Another one that made everyone's heart swoon was Carrie Underwood's performance of her song "Heartbeat," which is definitely a testament as to why she won the Favorite Female Artist in the Country category.

Whether you wanted to see it or not, Meghan Trainor's full-on make-out session with Charlie Puth happened right at the end of their performance of "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" and "Marvin Gaye." It could be cute or disturbing for viewers since, after all, the duo's representative said that "They're just friends."

We're not sure if it's because the theatrical release of "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" is showing on Dec. 18, but the "Star Wars" tribute by Pentatonix really awakened the force with its sheer awesomeness, made even better by a bonus introduction from Han Solo himself, Harrison Ford!

Their performance was brilliant - absolutely brilliant. Pentatonix definitely pumped up the crowd with that one!
