Klipsch has announced a new line of headphones called the Klipsch Reference X Series, which includes four new models of headphones.
The lineup includes the likes of X20i, X12i, XR8i hybrid, and X6i, and the models are focused on combining both comfort and sound quality.
"It was certainly a tall task for Klipsch engineers and designers to outdo themselves, but as they always seem to do, they succeeded," said Alex Leopold, a spokesperson for the company, in a blog post. "This new X Series is much more of a family of products, offering clear differentiation between the price points. We have also listened to you, making logical improvements that will surely bring a smile to your face."
The flagship set of headphones is called the X20i. This is basically an in-ear headphone that is powered by a two-way armature design and offers a very high resolution super tweeter. Not only that, but the set is also made from injection-molded stainless steel.
The next set in the series, the X12i, offers ported and vented armature drivers, and is also the brand's smallest and lightest model of headphones.
The in-ear XR8i hybrid uses a single nozzle that is aimed at decreasing distortion and interference, which should make for a better listening experience.
Last but not least is the X6i, which offers a high frequency response, essentially providing users with a highly accurate listening experience.
Each of the models in the lineup uses Klipsch's ear tips that are aimed at offering better comfort. Klipsch says that the headphones are also packaged in easy-to-open packaging. Prices range from $179 to $549.
