If you're a T-Mobile customer or have considered purchasing Apple's new iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular, the carrier has just announced that it will begin offering the 4G LTE-equipped tablet on Nov. 18.
"The wait is over! And we're stoked to offer Apple's biggest, baddest iPad ever with JUMP! On Demand and all the other industry-rocking benefits that come with Un-carrier," said Mike Sievert, chief operating officer of T-Mobile.
"Now, get your new iPad Pro with JUMP! On Demand and upgrade to your next iPad anytime for absolutely no extra upgrade cost — just like you've been able to do with your phone. What's not to love?"
The iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular features a 12.9-inch 2,732 by 2,048 resolution Retina display with a screen density of 264 pixels per inch (ppi) and is powered by Apple's latest 64-bit A9X processor and M9 motion coprocessor. It includes 128 GB of internal storage and packs in an 8 megapixel iSight camera with autofocus, support to capture 1080p Full HD video at 30 fps and 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD camera for FaceTime calls and selfies. Apple claims the iPad Pro's battery will provide up to nine hours of surfing the Web using a cellular network.
T-Mobile will also offer Apple's take on a stylus in the Apple Pencil, which uses accurate pressure sensors that can detect how hard the Pencil is being pressed down, allowing users to have a more natural pencil and paper experience. The carrier will also sell the Smart Keyboard, which offers users a full-sized keyboard that connects to the iPad Pro via its Smart Connector port, which allows the tablet to power the keyboard in place of the more traditional Bluetooth pairing with which most tablet users are familiar.
T-Mobile has created a registration page that lets users sign up to be notified when you can place your order for the iPad Pro.
