Apple's tablet take on the business-minded tablets is set to arrive this week. Cupertino has confirmed that orders of the iPad Pro will be this Wednesday from the company's official site, and the 12.9-inch tablet will be available in person at Apple Stores, carrier partners, and Authorized Retailers by the end of the week.
Naturally, the prosumer device will also be joined by Apple-made accesstories, including the Apple Pencil Stylus and the new Smart Keyboard, for those looking to drop a bit more than the iPad's $799 starting price. Those add-ons will be priced at $99 and $169, respectively. There are also a couple of less sexy/expensive accessories, including a $59 Smart Cover and $79 Silicone Case.
The forthcoming iPad features Apple's retina display, sporting 5.6 million pixels, the souped-up new proprietary 64-bit A9X chip, and a battery that's said to offer 10 hours of battery life on a charge. And it'll be running iOS 9, naturally.
Along with the US, the big new tablet will be available in a slew of different areas. Here are a whole bunch of them more or less in alphabetical order:
Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, UAE, UK, Uruguay and US Virgin Islands
