NBA MVP and champion Stephen Curry needs booming sound off the court to match his loud game on it.
On Tuesday, JBL announced its Reflect Mini BT Stephen Curry Signature Edition headhphones. The Bluetooth-compatible, wireless lightweight sport headphones mark the first JBL product bearing Curry's name since the company announced him as its brand ambassador back in May.
That timing was great, considering Curry led the Golden State Warriors to an NBA title victory the next month and is now in the process of leading the team in their title defense in the league's 2015-16 season. The blue and yellow tones of the headphones even match the Warriors' team colors.
"I'm excited to bring my first JBL signature headphones to my fans and music lovers everywhere," Curry said in a JBL press release statement. "Music is a major part of my life and my game and the sound quality and design of these headphones are perfect for pushing through a tough workout session on or off the court."
Geared toward athletes, these headphones feature ergonomically designed ear tips that stay in place during intense training and are sweat proof, offering up to eight hours of audio playback. JBL even promises that basketball players can dribble, pass, rebound and shoot without ever feeling their headphones getting in the way.
"With the JBL Reflect Mini BT — Stephen Curry Signature Edition, fitness and music enthusiasts can enjoy signature sound and our best-in-class ergonomics in small and lightweight wireless headphones," Michael Mauser, president of the Lifestyle Audio Division at Harman, said in the company's press release.
The headphones are compatible with Apple and Android devices.
