Scientists Adding 'Leap Second' To World Clock This June 30

The International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems is set to implement an extra second on June 30 to allow the atomic clock to adjust to the slowing of the Earth's rotation. The addition of a leap second, however, has caused concern among Internet companies that fear the change might create problems with their computer systems.
