The mind is a funny thing. Even though Day of The Tentacle was released in 1993, when computer game graphics technology was obviously not up to par with today's standards of high-definition video games, we still remember the game as a fun foray into intergalactic adventures of keeping an alien invasion at bay. We don't even remember those jarring pixels that would make us cringe if found in a game released in 2015.
As revealed in preview screenshots for the upcoming Day of The Tentacle: Remastered, set for release in early 2016, developers are hoping to recapture the fun we remember, sans the pixelation. Not only does the game get a full-on makeover in the graphics and animation department, the remaster will also get an updated soundtrack, sound effects, and even the original developers coming on board to provide an audio commentary about the new edition.
