'Minecraft' Halloween Mashup For Consoles Gets You Grim Reaper, Bride Of Frankenstein, Wicked Witch And 40 Other Skins For $3.99

Just in time for Halloween, 4J Studios and Microsoft release a spooky Minecraft mash-up skin pack for consoles everywhere. 'Tis the season to be eerie indeed.

Microsoft launched a Halo-inspired mash-up pack just recently, which was planned out to garner attention for the Halo 5: Guardians release. With Halloween around the corner, Microsoft doesn't stop with the perfectly timed rollouts with its Minecraft Halloween mash-up pack.

With over 43 terrific skins, this horror-based pack has everything to complete a chilling weekend, from Bride of Frankenstein, Grim Reaper, Tree Face, Wicked Witch, Swamp Monster to even Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, to name a few. But the fun doesn't end there, as it includes a nasty texture pack that can be used in other Minecraft worlds and ghostly music. The developers even added in a roller coaster ride that can go on and on as many times as Minecraft players want.

Mojang, of course, did not leave anyone out from the festivities.

"Oh, and just in case any Pocket Edition or Windows 10 Beta players are reading this, don't worry - you're getting something equally special to celebrate Halloween," Mojang's Owen posted on the blog announcement.

Mojang doesn't intend to stop with the skins there, though, as the latest update also includes the "Star Wars" Prequel Skin Pack for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, which come with $2.99 price tags.

And as mentioned earlier, the excitement continues with the Halo 5: Guardians mash-up pack for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, not to mention that the Halo 5: Guardians is slated to go official on Oct. 27, just a few days to go.

The Minecraft Halloween mash-up pack is priced at $3.99. Xbox players can get their hands on the DLC pack for Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the Xbox Store.

Looks like we have the perfect Minecraft pack for the creepiest holiday of the year, and we can't wait to test them out.
