When you're roaming the apocalyptic wasteland of Fallout, it's not uncommon to stumble across an ice cold bottle of Nuka-Cola. It's far less common to find a good beer, but that's what Bethesda and Carlsberg UK have partnered up with to create.
Yes, there is Fallout beer. Inspired by the game's Vault-Tec industries, this 12-pack of promotional beverages is "a light colored pilsner lager, with a refreshing zesty hoppy taste and a floral aroma." Rads not included.
The beer is currently on sale over on Amazon for preorder with a release date of Nov. 5. That means you'll have five whole days to drink yourself silly in anticipation for Fallout 4.
The only catch is that the beer is UK only. It can't be shipped to the U.S. and can only be bought for £29.99 ($46 USD).
That's a major bummer for U.S. fans, but at least this week hasn't been a complete loss for the Fallout faithful. Not once, but twice, the heavily-sought-after Pip-Boy editions of Fallout 4 once again went on sale, only to quickly sell out once again both times. If you didn't manage to get one, one of these Fallout beers sure would come in handy.
Fallout 4 releases on Nov. 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. You can learn more about the game's perk system here, and be sure to catch up on the latest Vault-Tec S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video.
