Capcom just announced a subject-to-change list of dates for the second beta for Street Fighter V. Round two, fight!
Beyond keeping people hot for the new Street Fighter game, Capcom's strategy of slowly teasing playable characters will help make this second beta period interesting for those who played the first.
The characters from the last beta won't be playable this time. Players in this round will be able to use the following characters: Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika. Rashid will be added to the beta's roster on the third day, which is after the first server maintenance while Karin will be activated a few hours after. This time, the beta will expand beyond the PlayStation 4 and extend to the game's other launch platform: PC.
"Please check the minimum specs post here to make sure that your PC is able to run SFV properly," says Capcom. "Although the minimum specs will allow you to run SFV on your PC, the recommended specs will ensure you have an optimal SFV experience. PC users gain access to the beta starting October 24th."
Not only will PC players get their first their first taste of Street Fighter V, beyond those who have played at media events, they'll get a chance to fight it out with PlayStation 4 owners as Capcom tests cross-platform play during the second beta.
"This is a first for us and we are very excited for players across both platforms to finally have a chance to battle one another," says Capcom. "Make sure to bring your best strategies as the number of people that you can fight against will be that much larger this time around."
