Last night's episode of Arrow featured Oliver Queen/Arrow (Stephen Amell) taking on a new baddie in town named Anarky, while we were introduced to Jessica Danforth, the potential new mayor of Star City and a family friend of the Queens, played by Star Trek alumni Jeri Ryan.
And next week, things are looking pretty dicey for our superhero when a new baddie puts a target on Green Arrow. Known as Double Down in the comics, villainous Jeremy Tell (JR Bourne) is seen "playing" cards—of course, the deadly kind. Tell is known as being a con artist and compulsive gambler, who uses lethal cards from his skin (that he can control with his mind) to attack his targets.
Titled "Restoration," next week's episode will also focus on Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) returning to Nanda Parbat with her sister's remains to ask Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) to bring The Canary back. This will not sit well with Nyssa al Ghul.
Directed by Wendey Stanzler and written by Wendy Mericle and Speed Weed, the official synopsis of Arrow's season 4, episode 3 "Restoration" is as as follows:
The growing tension between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) puts both their lives at risk when they go after Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and a H.I.V.E. deployed meta-human. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) talks Thea (Willa Holland) into returning to Nanda Parbat to ask her father (John Barrowman) to put Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) into the Lazarus Pit. However, Laurel is surprised when Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) refuses to do it.
