A hero who has been missed at Disneyland's Marvel Super Hero HQ will finally be able to join his Avenger friends when the attraction reopens on Nov. 16. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will finally be able to web-sling in to keep visitors safe from the likes of villains like Doc Oc and the Green Goblin.
The newly redesigned Super Hero HQ will be located in Tomorrowland in Disneyland Anaheim, California. Spidey will be stationed at meet and greet area throughout the day when he isn't too busy saving his city from bad guys.
According to the official Disney blog, the new Super Hero HQ is the place for heroes like Spider-Man to hang out and have some fun on their off time.
"Super Hero HQ is the West Coast home base of some of the greatest heroes in the universe. It's the place to go, not only to meet some of those heroes, but to discover the super hero in yourself," Disney says.
Other features to be unveiled at the new Super Hero HQ is a tour of the Treasures of Asgard, where you can meet Thor across the Bitfrost.
Stark Industries will also be prominently featured at the HQ to present the tech behind Tony Stark's Iron Man suit, and you will even be able to virtually try some of Tony's creations in the Hall of Armor.
Although Disney owns Marvel, it was tricky to finally get the swinging super hero into the park due to licensing for some Marvel characters being owned by Universal. But not only will Spidey finally be allowed to enter the gates of Disneyland, he will also be joining the other Avengers in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, 2016.
The Spider-Man franchise will also be rebooted yet again with newcomer Tom Holland as the red and blue spider hero and Academy Award-winning actress Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
