Mark Ruffalo And Jared Leto Wore Masks To Mingle With Cosplayers At NYCC 2015

Attendees of this past weekend's NYC Comic Con very well likely passed by two of their favorite superhero- or supervillain-playing actors and didn't even know it. Mark Ruffalo (the latest Incredible Hulk) and Jared Leto (the newest Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad) went into stealth mode to mix with the masses on the floor of the Javits Center in midtown Manhattan.

Ruffalo posted an Instagram photo of himself decked out as a cantankerous-looking, cigar-smoking old man on Oct. 11, the last day of NYCC.

Leto busted out some Joker eyes for his selfie, visible through baboon nostrils/eyeholes, rendering the photo even more dada-esque.

The Suicide Squad actor then ramped it up a level with an all-too-meta Instagram pic of Leto and a Joker cosplayer posing for the camera.

As to whether these masquerade-heavy shenanigans were a joint effort from both actors or a mere coincidence that they both decided to don some pretty elaborate headgear to mingle with the cosplaying crowd is not known, but the detailing from both masks appears to be made by the same artist and/or manufacturer.
