Apple Watch Has Six New Ads: What Do They Say About The Device?

Apple has released six new adverts for the Apple Watch, and each ad highlights certain features of the smartwatch such as Apple Pay, Siri, Maps and more.

Each ad has a running time of 15 seconds long and Apple has also given names to individual ads. One ad called "Sprinkle" focuses on Apple Pay, the company's mobile payment system, via the Apple Watch.

Apple Pay makes making payments for purchases very simple via contactless payment terminals.

"Having Apple Pay on your watch is remarkably convenient," per Apple. "A gentle tap and beep confirm your payment information was sent. You never reveal your name, card number, or security code to the cashier, so your private information stays private."

Another ad released by Apple for the Apple Watch is called "Date" that highlights how the Apple Watch shows messages to the wearer.

When a message is received, Apple Watch users get a light vibration on their wrist. With a tap on the screen owners can view the message at a convenient time.

An advert called "Ride" shows a girl riding a two-wheeler and asking Siri on her Apple Watch for directions to a specific destination. Apple Watch searches the user's destination and shows it on Apple Maps. This ad focuses on the Maps app as well as the smartwatch's integration with Siri, which makes navigation easy for users.

Another ad is entitled "Cycle," which shows a user working out while wearing the Apple Watch. The Activity app on the Apple Watch shows the progress of her workout.

"Train," on the other hand, features the wearable's ability to track the heart rate of the wearer.

The last ad called "Sing" shows the wearer singing into the Apple Watch. The wearable records the user's singing and sends it as an audio message to his girlfriend.

All the six ads are quite short, however, Apple has conveyed the message and features of the Apple Watch in a way the tech company is known for - hip and effective.
