NFL Goes A Calendar Month Without An Arrest For The First Time Since 2009

National Football League players have been arrested so rampantly that it's newsworthy when the league goes a stretch of time without any of its players being reportedly booked.

According to reporter and data analyst Mike Rosenberg, September 2015 marked the first calendar month in more than six years without any player arrests being reported.

Wait ... it gets even deeper than that.

It's head-scratching to think that an NFL player has gotten arrested every month for the past 15 years during the season. One would think that more Septembers through the years would have been arrest-free months simply because it's the first official month of the season, where teams are still very much trying to hit a groove, run their plays to perfection and sort out personnel — which all spell quite the workload for players, whether young or veterans trying to earn their keep.

Another part of this analysis is NFL fans love the game and the product that the league churns out so much that they've almost become numb to news of a player's arrest ... to the point where a month of no arrests reported becomes the news.
