Too High-Brow For Beer Chugging? Try The Chambong At Your Next Dinner Party

Introducing the latest addition to your barware – for the more refined alcohol drinkers out there – the Chambong. This elegant piece of glassware was created to guzzle down champagne and sparkling wine in a way that no beer bong could ever do – with class and grace.

From the minds of a team of friends made up of artists, dancers, glassblowers, businessmen, scientists, and of course, drinkers, the Chambong fills in the void between frat party and dinner party.

According to the company's description on their official website, the brains behind the Chambong were always unnerved by the fact that Champagne is enjoyed by CEO's to housewives, but why does it have to be drank so slowly?

“There’s no way this massive surplus of champagne could ever be squandered at the pace we desire using current technology. Our only options are spraying it on party goers, popping extra-bubbly corks, and sinking – all wasting delicious champagne,” they wrote.

Seriously though, the team confessed on their site that they originally conceived the Champong to be the bong to defy all bongs, which they will use to smoke copious amounts of weed during Super Bowl 2014. Unfortunately, their invention was not quite the epic smoking device they hoped it would be and it was scrapped.

A few nights later, friends remarked that the glass lab contraption looked like it could be used as a “wine shooter.”

That was how the Chambong came into existence.

Currently the Chambong is being sold for $25 each. But discounts for those who order two or more are available.

A single Chambong can hold four ounces of liquid, but the fun partying to be had with it is endless.

A handy video on why they felt the world needs a Chambong is also available to watch. One reason: Because its awesome!
