In the hit TV series, "The Flash", we know that there's a Firestorm in Ronnie Raymond played by Robbie Amell. However, the new series is set to bring forth an all new version of the character, one that only comic book readers know about.
From what we've come to understand, Franz Drameh has joined the cast of "Legends of Tomorrow" as the character, Jay Jackson, and he will no doubt show up in "The Flash" season 2 as Firestorm. The big question is, what happened to Ronnie Raymond and will he ever return.
We got a glimpse of this new Firestorm is a new trailer on YouTube, but the video is now set to private so fans who were hoping to get an early glimpse might have to go searching around the web for a copy.
For those who are not aware, Franz Drameh is a black guy, so we're going to have a black Firestorm kicking butts this season. And yes, the second Firestorm in the comic books is indeed a black man, and he knew how to cause some serious pain.
We have to wonder, though, who is Jay Jackson fused with? Is it Ronnie Raymond or Martin Stein? We suspect it might be Stein, and we also believe this Firestorm is from another world.
Bear in mind that the showrunners have confirmed that season 2 will see "The Flash" visit other dimensions, and both villains and heroes from those other worlds will venture into the main world.
Hopefully, it doesn't become too confusing for casual fans because time travel has a way of making people scratch their heads in complete disbelief.
The second season of "The Flash" will see Barry Allen taking on several villains, including that of Zoom, who is probably one of the most powerful speedsters in the whole DC Universe.
We're not certain what Zoom wants, but we can be sure that to get to his end game, he will want to kill Barry and his friends.
