Mad Max has been out for almost a month, and players seem to be enjoying their time in the Wasteland. And now, a new update brings a number of small improvements and the option for more realistic car physics, which should make the game an even better experience.
It's all broken down in a recent post on the official Mad Max community forums. This patch adds the "Vehicle Roll" setting, which allows for more realistic in-air car physics that should make some of the game's intense car battles even more memorable.
That's the biggest addition coming in the patch — but there are a number of other improvements as well. In addition to addressing various bugs (like the map not displaying properly and audio issues), Update 3 improves overall game performance as well, in addition to speeding up load times, thanks to improved data streaming. Auto-aim prioritization is being improved, too.
The flow of some of the game's missions has also been tweaked.
"This includes retroactively resolving a conditional mission flow blocker that was happening to some players trying to install the Baby Bars during the Wasteland Classic mission after the mission flow had been interrupted," the update post reads.
Overall, it's not a ton of changes, but all the little improvements do add up to make a better experience overall.
