AMC Releases New 'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Premiere Trailer

AMC released a new trailer for for the premiere of The Walking Dead season 6 after Sunday night's episode of Fear The Walking Dead, which highlights the fact that the group has no choice but to go after the walkers so the undead don't come to them.

Properly titled "You Don't Have A Choice," the new 30-second promo shows how Rick Grimes and the gang go on the offense to secure their safety in the Alexandria enclave. But the threat of the approaching zombies might not bring everyone closer as they struggle for survival. The footage shows that some members of the gang are starting to question Rick, and are worried that he is too dangerous. Of course, these town folk have no idea what the main character has been through, and instead start to see him as a threat.

Tensions rise between Rick and Morgan Jones as they continue to butt heads over Alexandria's future, all while keeping the walkers away from the walls of their safe haven. And according to this trailer, they won't be safe for long. While we wait to see how this plays out, at least we know that this season has no shortage of close encounters with the flesh-eaters.

The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln as Rick, Chandler Riggs as Carl, Danai Gurira as Michonne, Melissa McBride as Carol, Sonequa Martin-Green as Sasha, Lauren Cohan as Maggie, Steven Yeun as Glenn, Norman Reedus as Daryl, Lennie James as Morgan, Seth Gilliam as Father Gabriel, Michael Cudlitz as Abraham, Josh McDermitt as Eugene, Alanna Masterson as Tara, Christian Serratos as Rosita, Tovah Feldshuh as Deanna, Ross Marquand as Aaron, Alexandra Breckenridge as Jesse, and Austin Nichols as Spencer.

The Walking Dead season 6 will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 9 p.m. EDT. Watch the premiere trailer for the 16-episode season in the clip below.
