Have you been looking to get a new Samsung tablet? You're in luck as the 16GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is now on sale on eBay.
Earlier in September, the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab A went on sale for $215 on eBay from the same retailer.
For those who are looking to snag the 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A being offered on eBay, one simply needs to shell out $159.99 for the tablet. Originally, the tablet was listed for $229.99 but now the seller QuickShip Electronics is offering a 30 percent discount.
If you're thinking the deal is too good to be true to not have a caveat you're right - there is a catch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 being offered is an open box item. While the tablet will come in the original box packaging, the seller disclaims that the box of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 may be "lightly distressed."
"This item shows virtually no signs of use. It includes the original package (which may be lightly distressed) and the original OEM accessories," according to the seller notes.
The good bit is that you will get a warranty which is valid for a year. Therefore, in the event the 8-inch Galaxy Tab A on offer faces any issue, you always have the warranty to fall back on.
To re-jog your memory, the Galaxy Tab A has a metal chassis and sports an 8-inch PLS TFT display with a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels. It was launched in March this year.
Under the hood, the tablet packs in a Quad-Core Qualcomm APQ 8016 processor which is clocked at 1.2GHz and 1.5GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers. The tablet is available in 16GB and comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. It houses a powerful 4,200mAh battery which offers up to 13 hours of Internet usage.
