'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' Multiplayer Beta To Launch In December

As multiplayer beta releases are becoming more popular among upcoming video games, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 running a successful multiplayer beta a few weeks ago, Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is following the trend with its own.

The multiplayer beta, previously a rarity for gaming consoles, for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be accessible to gamers that will purchase the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection that will be released in October. Gamers will also be required to have a PlayStation Plus membership to be able to join the beta run.

Information on the multiplayer beta was revealed in a new trailer for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, with the covered dates of the multiplayer beta being Dec. 4 to Dec. 13.

It was not revealed, however, what characters, maps, weapons and match types are involved in the multiplayer beta, leaving a lot more information about the multiplayer beta unknown rather than known. However, what is important to know are the covered dates of the multiplayer beta, which fans anticipating the title would surely mark on their calendars.

Also included in the trailer for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection are loads of spoilers for the first three titles in the much-loved series, as the collection is pretty much for gamers who have already played through the games on the PlayStation 3 and want to go through the experience again before Nathan Drake's final outing for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. New players are, of course, very much welcome to join Drake's adventures, with all installments included in the collection for the complete Uncharted experience.

The trailer showcases the improvements in the visuals of the titles included in the collection, revealing that the titles are not simple ports into the PlayStation 4, but rather have gone through updates to make the most out of the capabilities of the more advanced gaming console.

In addition to the improvements in graphics, the collection also adds new game modes and additional difficulties.

Naughty Dog said that it is planning to hold livestream regarding Uncharted 4: A Thief's End in the future, with fans hoping that the developer will slip through some information accidentally, such as how it revealed that it was working on a sequel to The Last Of Us.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will have a release date on March 18 of next year, while Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be released on Oct. 9.
