SpaceX has a number of pretty lofty goals, including things like colonizing Mars. In order to make this a possibility, the company needs to significantly reduce the cost of launching rockets into space, which is why it is working on ways to make the Falcon 9 rocket reusable.
Trying to re-land the Falcon 9 has proven to be extremely difficult, with SpaceX having tried twice without success. Now, you too can try to land the Falcon 9 rocket, using the new game SpaceX Falcon 9 Lander.
The game was developed using software created by the MIT Media Lab, and it can certainly be frustrating. It would be difficult to determine whether or not the game is as hard as the real thing, but it will certainly take a while for the player to successfully land the rocket.
To play the game, users only have the arrow keys, with up triggering the thruster and the side arrows helping you direct the rocket toward the drone ship on which the rocket lands. There is also a limit of fuel in the rocket, and users can change levels using the space bar.
While the game is extremely frustrating, thankfully, users aren't out millions of dollars each time they crash the rocket.
