Google's upcoming Nexus smartphone and phablet have been leaking on an almost daily basis. An image and the specs of the LG Nexus 5X(2015) in black have leaked from an internal presentation of the smartphone.
September is shaping up to be a very busy month when it comes to flagship smartphone and phablet announcements. Apple just took the wraps off of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, which both feature 3D Touch displays, a faster A9 processor and 12 megapixel rear iSight camera that is capable of capturing 4K video at 30 fps. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus will make their way into customers' hands on Sept. 25.
HTC is also planning to reveal a new flagship smartphone on Sept. 29, in the form of the HTC One A9 "Aero." We recently reported that leaked images of the handset made their way online and show a device that borrows heavily from Apple's iPhone 6 series design language. The HTC One A9 is expected to be one of the first smartphones to ship with Google's latest version of Android, Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Google is also widely expected to take the wraps off of its latest flagship Nexus smartphone and phablet on Sept. 29, the same day HTC will unveil the HTC A9. The company has yet to confirm the launch event, but credible sources claim the event will take place on Sept. 29 in San Francisco.
Google is planning to take a page out of Apple's playbook by launching two new Nexus devices, a 5.2-inch smartphone built by LG that will go head to head with Apple's iPhone 6s and the Huawei Nexus phablet that has its sights on the iPhone 6s Plus.
A new report claims to give us another look at the LG Nexus 5X/(2015) in black, as well as confirm the smartphone's final specs. The image and information reportedly comes from an internal presentation.
The leaked image matches a previously-leaked picture of the Nexus 5X/(2015) in a white color option. Also visible is the rear Touch ID-like fingerprint scanner situated below the rumored 13 megapixel camera, which includes a two-tone LED flash and LG's popular laser autofocus. The tipsters claim the slide confirms the smartphone will boast a 5.2-inch 1920 by 1080 full HD display, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 2 GB of RAM and offered in both a 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage configuration.
