Redskins' Robert Griffin III Can't Even Stay Healthy In 'Madden NFL 16'

After a dismal 2014 NFL season, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III was slapped with a bottom-tier 28th ranking among all league QBs by ESPN just last month.

It didn't help that Griffin suffered a concussion during the second quarter of the Redskins' preseason game against the Detroit Lions last week and that it could affect the start of his 2015 regular season. Over the past two seasons, various injuries have been responsible for Griffin missing 10 games.

That being said, what makes Griffin's durability even worse is that he seems to be injury-prone in the new Madden NFL 16 video game as well. According to a Fox Sports report, multiple gamers have complained about losing Griffin to injury, while playing with the Redskins in the game's franchise mode.

Case of art imitating life and the other way around, as one Twitter user even commented that watching RGIII's play and his offensive line's performance on the field reminded him of their gameplay in Madden.

Just dreadful that this is what it has come down to for Griffin, who at one time, was regarded the most rapidly-rising QB in the NFL. Only three quarterbacks — Sam Bradford, Josh McCown and Carson Palmer — have a worse injury rating than Griffin's 77. Oddly enough, fans haven't been clamoring about Bradford and McCown suffering consistent injuries.

Stay out of harm's way, Robert ... on the NFL gridiron and Madden's franchise mode.
