Suicide Squad has done filming, and as such, Jared Leto must now walk away from his character, the Joker. The first step in doing so is nothing other than getting rid of the green hair.
The actor took to Instagram where he showcased a few patch of cut hair, which came from his head since the color is green. We're not sure what the actor plans to do after this, but we can't wait to find out.
It's surprising Leto has chosen to trim his green hair right now, it must mean the Suicide Squad team are not expecting to do any reshoots so things must have ended well. We can't say the same for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as it was supposed to have been released this year, but got pushed to 2016.
Suicide Squad filming kicked off this year with a lot of fan excitement. During filming, fans have managed to capture several videos and leak them to the web. We've seen what the actor and character looks like as he trades verbal blows with Margot Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn.
We also saw him hitting her, bringing into perspective the abusive relationship they share. Furthermore, we also get to see the Joker in his hot looking car with the Batman on top and Harley Quinn inside.
This version of the Joker is very controversial, mainly due to his many tattoos and gangster-like persona. Some fans have voiced their concerns on social media while others have chosen to take a wait and see approach.
After the first trailer at Comic-Con 2015, many fans changed their mind about Leto being the Joker and the character design overall though the word "Damaged" on his forehead still displeases a few.
Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters worldwide come Aug. 5, 2016. The film will be the third movie in the DC Extended Universe after Man of Steel and the yet to be released, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
