The tech world will never be the same again if it is without product leaks. The focus seems to be around the upcoming LG Nexus 5 2015, as another image leak involving the device has appeared once again on the Internet.
Just a few days ago, Tech Times reported about a design leak that was revealed by uSwitch along with known tipster @onLeaks. The leaked video render shows that the LG Nexus 5 2015 will come with a fingerprint scanner that will be placed just below the device's rear camera.
Other features that were revealed by the previous leak include the existence of stereo speakers on the front side of the device, a display size of 5.2 inches, the distinctive shape of what appeared to be a USB Type-C connector and a protruding camera at the rear.
The latest leak was found on a website called AliExpress, an online shopping site. This time around, the leaked images show a line of cases which the site claims are case meant for the Nexus 5 from LG.
"New For LG Google Nexus 5 2015 5.2" Stand Holder Shockproof Iron Man Hard Armor Hybrid Case Cover For Google Nexus 5 2015 Shell," said AliExpress in the product title and description part of the page.
The site is selling each piece at $4.26. It also says that there are more than 5,000 cases that are still available for purchase.
The cases seem to be built with a solid, hard material. There's even a kickstand at the rear, which should add support for hands-free usage of the device. They also come in a number of color options, including white, pink, beige, blue, gray and black.
Based on past transactions, some of the early buyers came from the U.S., Canada, France and Poland.
The leaked images further strengthen the notion that the upcoming LG Nexus 5 2015 will come with a fingerprint scanner.
The Nexus 5 2015 will be officially announced in the second half of October, if Google follows with its tradition of unveiling its new Nexus during this time of the year.
Although LG has yet to confirm the device, several reports have claimed that the market will see two Nexus models in 2015. The LG Nexus 5 2015 will be the smaller version with the 5.2-inch screen, while the Huawei-built Nexus will be bigger with a 5.7-inch display.
