This November, Looney Tunes fans will have something new to be thankful for while they're carving up the turkey.
DC Comics and Looney Tunes — both owned by Warner Bros. — are joining forces for a month-long series of variant comic book covers. As fans know, variant covers are often even less related to events that transpire inside the comic's pages than an ordinary cover. More often than not, they're collectible art pieces by a popular artist.
So, what can you look forward to on November's mashup covers? How about Wile E. Coyote teaming up with Sinestro? Or Deathstroke in a dual-pistol showdown with Yosemite Sam?
Elsewhere, Marvin the Martian sports 10 rings on the cover of Green Lantern #46, while Road Runner and Speedy Gonzalez try to outrun Barry Allen for The Flash #46. One of the laugh-out-loud funniest has to be Elmer Fudd in his "Kill the Wabbit" Viking/opera getup belting out a tune alongside Wonder Woman, who's striking an equally operatic pose.
DC spread out its reveals of 25 variant covers today, between ComicBook.com, Comic Book Resources, Comic Vine, Newsarama and Uproxx. Here's one from each site to get you started, but be sure to hit those links to see the entire collection.
