Warner Brothers Releases Interactive 'Mad Max' Video Game Trailer

There's a lot of excitement building for the September 1st release of upcoming survival adventure game Mad Max.

Although the game has nothing to do with the Mad Max: Fury Road hit film that premiered earlier this year, the video game promises the same kind of crazy action and thrills fans expect from the Mad Max franchise.

Now, Warner Brothers has released a new interactive gameplay trailer to demonstrate to players how their gameplay choices and play style affects how the main character, Mad Max, attacks enemies and proceeds through the wastelands.

"A daring shot at survival might be the only shot you get," reads the game's official website. "Fighting off your enemies is just the beginning. Your struggle continues as you battle your way through the Wasteland's ever-present dangers - all to build the ultimate survival vehicle, the Magnum Opus."

Now, this new trailer shows how that struggle plays out, depending on how you choose to approach it: you can go in guns blazing, play it cool and stealthy or go completely "mad." Do you choose to tackle combat in your Interceptor or on foot? The choice is up to you.

In Mad Max, players must solve a puzzle by visiting every outpost in the wasteland, while fighting off dangers that arise. The game even requires the player to make uneasy alliances to take out Scrotus, the Wasteland's evil overlord.

Almost out of gas, but not completely out of luck, your Interceptor is your only hope for survival as Scrotus' gang of marauders close in. Do you fight or flee? The decision could mean the difference between life and death.

Mad Max comes out on September 1 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Pre-orders get The Ripper, an additional upgradeable Magnum Opus car body. For those hoping to nab the game on the PC, here are the minimum system requirements.
