'Star Wars: The Force Awakens': Leaked Image Of Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker is set to appear in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but while we have all seen the new characters along with Chewie and Han Solo, no one knew what Luke would look like—until now.

A newly leaked image shows Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker on the set of the film, and he looks quite different. This is expected since Hamill is now an older man, so it all makes him look similar to an old Obi-Wan Kenobi than anything else.

We bet he'll have some wise words to say and possibly a few awesome fight scenes here and there. He may even die in this struggle for all we know because Disney has been very tight-lipped about the plot.

The second trailer highlighted Luke Skywalker but only in voice-overs along with his robotic hand picking up a lightsaber. Fans were expecting more, but it seems as if Disney is planning to keep many things under wraps before the movie comes out.

Due to how popular the franchise has become, Disney doesn't need to release a trailer that tells anything about the plot. It doesn't need to release a trailer showing any of the major characters; at the end of the day, people are going to come in by the millions to see what this movie is going to deliver.

Fans have been waiting for a solid Star Wars movie ever since the last trilogy went to the dogs—well, only the first two were terrible, but the third act was indeed splendid.

Many hope The Force Awakens can bring back the glory days in excellent fashion, but we are not going to get our hopes up too much. Time and time again we've seen a lot of great and emotional trailers, but many times these films turn out to be nothing but disappointments all across the board.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens will hit theaters in December and is expected to break records and possibly become the most profitable movie of all time.
