If you are wondering "Scooby-Doo, where are you?" then look no further than the beloved video game city of San Andreas.
We have seen the opening credits of Grand Theft Auto V be remade as if they were classic shows like Full House, but this latest video uploaded by YouTuber btz puts the spotlight on a character that has the chops to be a star.
Rightfully so, Franklin's Rottweiler, named Chop, is remade to resemble Scooby-Doo, the mystery-solving canine from the 1969 cartoon. The GTA V gang are all reimagined as characters that make up Mystery Incorporated, including Michael as Fred and Trevor as Shaggy.
Using Rockstar Editor and Director Mode, YouTuber btz was able to create an almost exact replica of the opening of sequence of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
Also, it appears a "haunted mansion" in San Andreas is where he's been hiding.
You might have to play the video back a few times to catch all the funny moments, such as the use of baseball bats instead of the mammal bats that are shown in the opening scene of Scooby-Doo. There is also the hilarious way btz found a way to make Chop "eat" cotton candy at the end of the video.
Hanna-Barbera Productions' Scooby-Do, Where Are You! aired from 1969 until 1971, and has had quite a few remakes and spinoffs, including Warner Bros. animated series and feature films.
However, this GTA V version brings us back to the days of Saturday morning cartoons. It's almost scary to see how spot-on this remake is to the cartoon's original opening scene.
Watch the two opening scenes in a side-by-side comparison below.
