Here's How To Get A Copy Of 'Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes' For Free

March 1975, a stealthy operative is sent to infiltrate Camp Omega, the American black site in Cuba.

We follow the Militaires Sans Frontieres hero, commonly known as Snake, as he maneuvers the dangerous camp and complete his mission. This is the groundwork for the Konami video game Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. For those who are interested in getting a free copy, here it how to do it.

Gamers who pre-purchase the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on Steam will also receive a free copy of the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes video game, a collector's video showcasing behind the scenes footages, downloadable Venom Snake emblem, and additional staff for Mother Base.

For PlayStation 4 owners, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is one of six games they can already download from PlayStation Plus for free starting last June.

Konami posted this tweet to share the exciting news to its fans:

Xbox Live Gold subscribers need not feel out of place, as Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is free for download on Xbox One's free game section this August. Xbox One owners can also opt to download How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition as part of the two free games they can get from the subscription.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was released on December 2014 and was received well by critics and gamers. It got the third place rank in all Japanese software sales within the week of its release. Though the PS4 version outsold the Xbox One version, it seems like reports indicate that the game is more solid in sales for the PC version.
