The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is about to make its debut soon and some high-resolution renders now envision what it could be like.
Rumors of the next-generation Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have been intensifying lately ahead of the big unveiling in a couple of weeks. Samsung has already confirmed that it will hold a special event on Aug. 13, where it is expected to take the wraps off the Galaxy Note 5 and like a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
Various leaks and reports so far have tried to paint a picture of what to expect from the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and now some high-resolution concept renders give us a glimpse of what it could look like.
These intriguing renders came from a mechanical engineer named Ivo Maric, who has a passion for rendering smartphones before they become official, as he notes on his Instagram account.
Maric's Galaxy Note 5 renders show the phablet's potential design in great detail, envisioning virtually every aspect based on latest rumors and reports. The device rendered here looks like a larger version of the flagship Galaxy S6, complete with a stylish metal frame and a glass back.
The images further show the Galaxy Note 5's massive display, a physical home button that likely houses a fingerprint reader, and a sleek and thin form factor. Maric envisioned the Galaxy Note 5 with a notably slimmer profile compared to the Galaxy Note 4.
The next-generation Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is also expected to rock a new S Pen stylus, boasting some big upgrades that would make it feel and look more like a pen.
Maric's renders give us a good look at what the front, back and sides of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 could look like, but keep in mind that it's a concept design. This means that it envisions a potential design, but these renders don't actually depict the real product.
When it comes to specifications, various reports so far have revealed that the Galaxy Note 5 should feature a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a high QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and pack an in-house octa-core Exynos processor under the hood, paired with a hefty 4GB of RAM.
Other rumored specs include a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz on the software side, and a 4,000 mAh battery. It remains unclear for now just what storage capacities will be available, or whether it will have a microSD card slot for additional memory.
It's all still in the rumor state at this point, but it should all become official soon enough. The next Samsung Unpacked event on Aug. 13 is just around the corner and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 should hit retail soon after it makes its official debut at the event.
