Motorola has confirmed that its latest Moto G 2015 will soon be available in the United States via Virgin Mobile and U.S. Cellular.
Motorola announced the Moto G along with the Moto X Play and Moto X Style on July 28. The Moto G 2015 packs in impressive specs that a smartphone customer needs in a mid-level handset.
The Moto G 2015 sports a 5-inch display with a 720 by 1,280 pixels resolution and 294 pixels per inch. The handset runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The phone comes in 1GB and 2GB RAM options.
The latest Motorola smartphone has 8GB and 16GB internal storage variants with the option to increase to an additional 32GB with a microSD card. The handset is equipped with a 13MP primary snapper and a 5MP front-facing camera. A 2,470mAh battery powers the Moto G 2015.
"With an all-day battery, it won't ever bail on you when you need it most and it's ready to capture new memories with a flick of the wrist with a 13 megapixel camera," the company stated.
The handset is currently available directly from Motorola at a starting price tag of $179.99. The 8GB version of the Moto G 2015 with 1GB of RAM is also available from Amazon and Best Buy for $179.99.
Customers opting to buy the Moto G 2015 directly from Motorola can make a pick from a number of back colors such as yellow, white, blue, red and more. The accents on the phone can also be customized to orange, white, purple, pink and more.
However, Amazon is selling the Moto G in black and white colors, while Best Buy is offering the handset in just black color.
Now, Motorola Mobility has tweeted that U.S. Cellular and Virgin Mobile will also start selling the Moto G 2015 in the coming months.
The exact pricing and release date of the Moto G 2015 on U.S. Cellular and Virgin Mobile remains unknown for now.
