Apple has released three new ads for its Apple Watch that highlight three things where it is most useful: music, fitness and travel.
The three new 15-second advertisements are Apple's first ads that directly put the spotlight on third-party apps for the popular device. The campaign's name, "Apps at a Tap," clearly shows just how Apple is making apps accessible to users of the Apple Watch.
The first ad showcases music apps which, of course, include Apple's own Apple Music app as well as other apps such as Shazam, StubHub and Pacemaker, which all allow users to enjoy their playlists wherever they are.
The second ad shows fitness apps that users can use to help them live a fit lifestyle. The fitness apps available are Apple's Activity app, WaterMinder, Nike+Running and MLB At Bat. to name a few.
The third clip introduces apps like Expedia, TripAdvisor, Uber and Yelp, which users can find useful when they are out and about.
The ads are short and simple since previously released ads for the Apple Watch have already showcased the functions of the device that highlight the fact that the Apple Watch brings convenience and style to users' everyday activities.
Fitness Apps: Focus on apps that help keep fitness goals in check.
Music Apps: Allow users to groove and move to their favorite tracks.
Travel Apps: Let you see and experience the world with ease.
Apple is reportedly looking at a fall unveiling of its Watch OS 2 and the native apps that the upcoming OS will be capable of supporting will reportedly allow commands to be managed on the device instead of being offloaded to an iPhone.
