After much teasing of its new OnePlus 2 smartphone, OnePlus announced that it is now ready to unveil the new smartphone via a virtual reality presentation on July 27. Even more, the online retailer, OppoMart, has listed the OnePlus 2 on its website which gives a description of all the official features of the phone.
The third-party online retailer's listing for the OnePlus 2 highlights the smartphone's 5.7 inch 2K screen which boasts of 571 ppi. It will also feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, an embedded rechargeable 3300 mAh LiPo battery, support global 4G FDD-LTE network, and 16 MP Sony Exmor IMX 234 camera for phone-camera enthusiasts.
In addition to these quite impressive specifications, the description for the OnePlus 2 also says it uses the new standard EMMC 5.0, which means it will have one of the fastest memory access and writing speeds out there.
The phone will also be powered by Android Oxygen OS, with a no-nonsense home screen and settings panel to make the OnePlus 2 functional and utilitarian.
Oppomart currently lists the OnePlus 2 at $499 but it is still unclear if the company will release models with different internal memory capacities or if this list price will be changed to reflect phones with variants of either 16GB or 64GB.

Although the Google Cardboard headset, which could be used to view the presentation for only $5, shipping is now out of stock, the features listed on Oppomart show that the new OnePlus 2 may prove to be just as popular as its predecessor.
The original OnePlus One was billed as a "flagship killer." With the imminent release of the OnePlus 2, the company is sure to turn heads once more when the new smartphone finally gets its big VR debut and officially goes on sale at Oppomart.
