A recent news segment packaged by Fox 29 in Philadephia featured a father who is upset over a scantily-clad Princess Leia action figure, and Carrie Fisher has something to say about it.
The fuss is understandable: the toy in question is a Princess Leia figurine produced by Hasbro that showcases the intergalactic icon in her slave outfit from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Besides Leia's risque attire, the scantily-clad action figure comes complete with a collar and chain.
"That's pretty inappropriate," said Fred Hill of Deptford, PA. "I got two daughters I don't need seeing that crap."
The model is one of only two Princess Leia toys in Hasbro's current series.
Fisher caught wind of the Fox segment and took to Twitter to talk about her thoughts on the matter.

While Fisher did not make a direct statement on whether she supported or disapproved of the existence of the Slave Girl Princess Leia toy, it's apparent that her focus is on Princess Leia's undeniable sense of agency and all-around heroism. Watch the original news clip below.
