Adobe Voice for iPad will help you tell stories. Forget PowerPoint

Apple's iPad welcomes a new and free animated video application called Adobe Voice that helps users create and share video stories that are engaging, inspiring and informative as well as can easily be created and shared in minutes.

The announcement came from Adobe in a blog post on May 8.

"That's why we've created Adobe Voice, a free iPad app that helps you make an animated video - in minutes. You don't have to stare at a blank page, mess around with bullets and slides or film anything. You just record your voice, select beautiful icons and imagery and it's all automatically combined with a soundtrack and cinematic-effects," the company writes.

Adobe says all the user need to do is to tell the story, no need for editing or filming skills, because the app will take care of everything. Regardless of the lack of such skills, the Voice app brings a whole new experience to those usual stationary presentation formats, much thanks to the voice feature.

The company enumerates the key features of the Voice app, namely beautiful graphics, animated themes, music selection, credits and attribution page, cutting-edge graphics engine, story starters and video samples. The app also boasts of an interface that is easy to use and professional, award-winning production technology that makes video creation a fun experience for all users.

The animated videos in the Adobe Voice can be shared through social media accounts, personal blogs or websites and even emails, simply by posting a link. The videos can also be viewed in any device.

The Voice app is said to be fitting for students, creative professionals, non-profit organizations and start-up businesses whether they're testing and creative a report or project, connecting with customers or advocating a cause.

The new app uses the Adobe Creative Cloud to bring a fresh iPad app experience to its users.

"Adobe Voice puts the power of Creative Cloud's industry-leading video and audio technology into the hands of the masses. Our move to Creative Cloud has given us a much broader canvas for innovation and attracted many new users to Adobe. We believe Adobe Voice, and other mobile apps expected in the next few months, will continue the momentum we're seeing," Winston Hendrickson, who is VP for products at Creative Media Solutions in Adobe, says in a statement.

The Adobe Voice for iPad can be downloaded freely from the App Store for iPad 2 and later for the iOS 7 devices. Here's a video how the app works.
