How To Watch Comic-Con If You Can't Make It To San Diego On July 9

Comic-Con, the longest continuously run comics and popular arts convention in the U.S., is happening this year on July 9 (Thursday) until July 12 (Sunday) with a Preview Night occurring on July 8 (Wednesday).

Fans of gaming, movie and television will surely be flocking to the event where they can catch a glimpse or more of their favorite characters and media personalities. For those who want to attend but are constrained to do so in one way or another, there are still a number of ways that they can do to catch up with what's happening even if they're physically absent from the event.

It is confirmed that Conan will have at least four episodes to be broadcasted straight from the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2015. The late-night talk show will be in San Diego where all the shows will be broadcasted from the Spreckles Theater.

"This summer, we're doing something quite new and I think exciting. Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to be broadcasting a week of shows from Comic Con in San Diego," announced Conan O'Brien in one of the show's episodes in early May.

According to O'Brien, the shows' lineup will include cast from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Game of Thrones from HBO and The Walking Dead from AMC. Other notable guests include Elijah Woods and Chris Hardwick. There's also a guest appearance of a special mystery cast to anticipate for.

Likewise, IGN said that they are hosting a four-hour show at the event, which shall occur daily from Thursday (July 9) until Sunday (July 12). The show will commence at 1 p.m. and shall end at 5 p.m.

"IGN Live will feature exciting interviews, demos and news from the Con," said IGN on its site. "Each day on the live stream, we'll be talking to folks from your favorite TV shows and movies, including Deadpool, The Walking Dead, Hitman: Agent 47, The Flash, Arrow, Ash vs Evil Dead, Gotham, Agent Carter, Supergirl and many others. We'll also be showcasing game demos from Nintendo, LEGO and more."

The live broadcasts of IGN can be viewed on a number of devices such as PC, smartphone, tablet, iOS, Android, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, PlayStation and Xbox. Other special treats include game demos from LEGO, Nintendo and more.

Fans can also turn to YouTube for the live streaming of IGN's Conversations For a Cause panels on Nerd HQ. This has become possible after the company has teamed up with The Nerd Machine. Some of the anticipated guests include Yvonne Strahovski, Joss Whedon, William Shatner and a whole lot more.
