Comic-Con 2015: These Are The First 'Batman v. Superman' Action Figures

San Diego Comic-Con is always a great place to find exclusive toys for sale. Sometimes it's even the first place you'll find any officially licensed merchandise for major upcoming projects.

Such is the case with Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will have its very first toys on sale at this year's Con. San Diego Comic-Con kicks off on the evening of Wednesday, July 8, and runs through Sunday, July 12.

Funko will sell bobblehead Pop! Heroes of the two title characters. Lego will show off a "New Batmobile" playset (which won't be available until January).

And Mattel has just revealed what BvS merch it will be selling at Comic-Con.

First is an action figure two-pack that includes 6-inch versions of Henry Cavill's Superman and Ben Affleck's Batman, along with display bases, fabric capes for both and a package tricked out with lights and sounds. Comic-Con attendees can pick up a box for $30, and it should be available at the Mattel booth. (You can see them pictured at top.)

Next, the Hot Wheels booth will have a special edition die-cast Batmobile, a tiny replica of the one driven by Batman in the movie. Given that these are a Con-exclusive and limited edition, they are going to run you significantly more than your standard Hot Wheels car. They'll be sold for $25.

Mattel's booth will also have a 12" Wonder Woman Barbie on display, but it won't be available for purchase just yet. The doll, along with Barbie-ized dolls of Batman and Superman (somebody make it stop), go on sale spring 2016, but you'll be able to get your first look at the Wonder Woman Barbie at the booth. It includes a sword, shield, tiara, bracelets and lasso.

One more item Con-goers will want to check out at the Mattel booth will be the one thing that's impossible to miss: a life-sized Hot Wheels car that replicates a special toy inspired by the movie. The toy car won't be on sale until spring, but you can get an up-close look at the human-sized car, which sports a design based on both Batman and Superman. It's kind of a mashup car, and it looks like this.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is sure to be the centerpiece of Warner Bros. Hall H presentation on Saturday, arrives on the big screen March 25, 2016.
