Some people say the generation of today should no longer be as clueless as people seemed to be many decades ago, because searching for answers is as easy as a click on the Google search button.
However, we didn't see this coming - weird searches that sometimes don't make sense at all.
Search Factory, a search agency based at Fortitude Valley in Brisbane, Australia, released an infographic of a few of the strangest and scariest information people search in Google.
"Scarily, one of the factors Google auto-complete takes into account when coming up with these 'guesses' is how often these similar searches are conducted. This got us thinking, just how much search volume is there for some of Google's weirdest auto-complete suggestions?" the company writes in a blog post.
Cats in the Cradle
The search phrase "How to make my cat love me" got 390 average monthly searches, while "Cat Dating" has 110 average monthly searches.
Gaga over Google
"Lady Gaga naked" has 135,000 average monthly searches, while "Is Lady Gaga a Man" got 18,100 average monthly searches. Either people are so gaga over Gaga or they are not and seem to be finding loopholes to put this woman down.
Data on Dating
Dating searches are ordinary, but still it's interesting that people are really taking their dating problems over Google and searching for answers. "How to ask a guy out" won the hearts of 14,800 average monthly searches, and "How to mend a broken heart" reached 9,900 average monthly searches. According to Search Factory, the figures were done a week before Valentine's Day.
Marital Woes
Many married people might have been so screwed up with their marriages that the only consolation they could give themselves for getting hitched is to search for answers on "Why did I get married?" which has 40,500 average monthly searches by the way. Now, of course, it makes sense why these possibly screwed-up couples would ever want to search "How to have an affair" on Google, which has 5,400 average monthly users.
One Time, Big Time
They hate their jobs so much that they turned to Google on how to win their luck in lottery and get the guts to finally ditch such life in the wrong lane possibly. Google shows that "How to win the lottery" has 40,500 average monthly searches, and "I hate my job" has 22,000 searches. If one of the searchers even wins the lottery, we think Google should get a commission for that.
These searches are so cracked up: "How do I Google something?" with 4,400 average monthly searches and "How do I use Google" with a thousand searches.
Not Over Santa
Hello, search Santa over Google? Why not, 60,500 average monthly searches accounted for it. Don't forget to ask Google, too, if you've been naughty or nice before Santa comes this Christmas.
Nuts over Nipples
Those nipples aren't made for milk sucking, so probably that's why people are asking, "Why do men have nipples?"-and that 18,000 people on average monthly searches have a point. Why do men really have one, um, we mean two?
Death by Internet
We hope those people on the serious lookout how to get away with such crimes be the ones surveyed by the NSA, and leave those cats and screwed-up lovers by their lonesome. Here's a scary sample of what other Internet users search for:
