We've not heard much about TNT's Teen Titan's TV show. What we've heard so far suggests that it will be called BlackBirds, and now we are hearing that shooting has been postponed.
The first episode should have kicked off filming this summer, but now we are hearing that it might not happen until in October due to unknown reasons. We might never know what the reasons are, but nonetheless, San-Diego Comic-Con should provide some news.
Whatever information that could be released at Comic-Con may only come in the form of casting announcements. There we should learn who will play Dick Grayson (Nightwing), Star Fire, Hawk, Dove, Raven, and Barbara Gordon.
At the moment, there's an official account on Twitter called TitanWriters. There, fans can feast two concept drawings the showrunners have uploaded, one of Nightwing and the other showcasing Raven.
It is not yet certain if the characters will look similar to the drawings in the show, but from what we have seen, we'd love them to.
In terms of what the first episode will entail, we understand that it will focus on the life of Dick Grayson and him becoming Nightwing. After that, he will eventually team up with Barbara Gordon, who we assume he knows very well, and the likes of Hawk, Dove, Starfire and Raven.
What will cause the team to come together is unknown at this point, but we are guessing it has to be a very dangerous villain. We'd like to think Blackfire will be the main big bad for the first season, as it would explain why Starfire is on earth.
Even better yet, what about Trigon? Yes, he could definitely be a worthy villain though we expect the writers to save him for another season because it would mean diving deep into Raven's past too soon.
It is best to hold on to this big bad because he poses a great danger to the whole world, and probably even the entire universe.
