Ten years ago, Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian started an entertainment, news and social networking website they named Reddit. Times flies faster when you're having fun and before you even realize it, a full decade of memories and happenings had passed by.
Today Reddit celebrates its birthday by sharing with its users and readers some interesting facts and statistics about how it came to life.

For those who are curious, the most gilded post in Reddit's 10-year history goes to user name 3hoho5 for his video post titled "Me eating a bull's d*ck for 400 gold on a single comment." The title is a dead giveaway of what you'll see in the video but it's still definitely worth watching.
Because of the sheer number of Reddit users, the community could make up a country larger than Russia, Mexico and Japan put together, making it the eighth largest population in the world. And because of its considerably large user base, Reddit has witnessed and shared amazing stories and experiences from people saving other people's lives from depression and suicide, providing emotional support and helping others with urgent medical needs.
