Cleveland Cavaliers Call On Ric Flair To Hype Up Crowd In Game 4 Of NBA Finals

To be the man, you gotta beat the man ... unless Ric Flair already thinks you're the man. And apparently "The Nature Boy" thinks LeBron James is the man.

When the WWE Hall of Famer was called upon to fire up the sold-out crowd at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland during Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, he shouted out King James and hyped up fans like only he can.

"We're in the house of King James! We're in the house of the Cavaliers!" yelled Flair, during a break before the second quarter of Game 4. "And I'm a limousine riding, Rolex wearing, diamond ring wearing son of a gun, who's having a hard time keeping these Alligators down! Wooo! LBJ ... I love you. You are the man! Let's do it! Wooo!"

From there, Flair, adorned in his signature robe and feathery boa, led a call-and-response of his classic, "Wooo!"

Despite Flair's best efforts, the Golden State Warriors beat the Cavs in a 103-82 victory to level the series at 2-2. Game 5 in the series is played Sunday in Oakland at the Oracle Arena.

This wasn't the first time Flair was called on to inspire a professional sports team, as he helped rile up the San Francisco 49ers last year. Former Indianapolis Colts safety Sergio Brown also went viral with his imitation of Flair's "limousine riding" spiel during the Colts' playoff run in 2014.

Joining Flair for Game 4 of the Finals were Cleveland natives and fellow WWE superstars Dolph Ziggler and The Miz.

More WWE superstars will join them in Cleveland for this coming episode of Monday Night Raw on June 15, which will also be held at Quicken Loans Arena and guest-hosted by rapper Machine Gun Kelly, another Cleveland native.

Sadly, Flair's appearance came the same day that his mentor, friend and fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Dusty Rhodes, died. Flair was one of many wrestlers to react to the passing of Rhodes.
